Bitcoin Trend Series / EP. 549 / Just An Oscillation Around Future Settlement Price
Time: 8.57 A.M. / GM+2 / 01 Apr, 2018 – Sun.
- In our previous post / 548 / we had forecast the trading range will be between 6.50K and 7.49K. The intraday high was 7.22K, and the low
was 6.78K.
- We still suggest the bearish trend domination, unless the price managed to breach 8.28K followed by 8.64K levels and hold above them. But in the same time I do not agree, that bitcoin price will go toward 1.3K-5K ( I don’t say it is impossible - it was 1-20 k during the year so any figure between those value are possible). I believe that bitcoin's price nearing bottom and the low of 2018 at 5.947K will hold.

This creates arbitrage, at open on Monday, you can go short futures and buy BTC to close the differential. In practise some traders anticipate and buy. The opposite happns if BTC goes too much above 7.2 K at that point you sell BTC and buy futures at open. Prices during wekends can only diverge till a certain point from the settlement price of last future contract trading session, arbitrage will always close the gaps. What you see on weekends is just an oscillation up and down around the future settlement price.
Note; Huge volumes to break out from 7.2K is needed! Watch out CBOE on Monday to know what April looks likes to be..

Bearish for Saturday night to all day Sunday is most likely following its' BTC usual weekly price pattern.
