Forecasting on Wings - Aurora

WINGS is a blockchain platform designed to encourage the WINGS community to find and promote the best crypto projects.

As a WINGS token holder you can evaluate projects and make a forecasst by staking your tokens, and earn tokens from the listed projects by forecasting. I wrote about it here.

Today I take a look at and forecast on the most recent project on the platform, Aurora.

[Aurora]19https://auroradao.com/) is a decentralized banking and finance platform build on Ethereum.

It features IDEX, its decentralized exchange; Boreal, its price-stable cryptocurrency; Snowglobe, its protocol for providing liquidity across sidechain exchanges; and Decentralized Capital, a DAO bank.

In addition to the price-stable Boreal, there’s also DVIP and AURA tokens. DVIP tokens can be used for crypto-membership to IDEX and you get free trades through 2021. AURA is the protocol token of Snowglobe and it’s staked to secure the network.

The team is led by Alex and Phil Wearn, who are the CEO and COO respectively.

For the token sale Aurora is sell DVIP tokens and each DVIP token entitles you to 50,000 AURA tokens in a future air drop.

There’s a hard cap of 1,600 DVIP and the token sale ends January 11.

What’s interesting is that Wings has a strategic partnership with Aurora Labs. Going forward all ICOs on Wings will also get listed on Aurora’s IDEX.

Right now IDEX is semi-centralized, with decentralized wallets and a centralized order book, but plans to go full decentralized in the future.

The forecast for Wings is in USD. Based on the token terms there’s a hard cap of 1,600 DVIP and each DVIP costs $3,000 so the most they can raise is $4.8 million. So far they’ve sold 778.5 DVIP with 10 days left to go in the token sale.

It doesn’t look like they’ll sell out. I’m guessing they close out at $3.5 million.
