Accidentally I sent BCH to BTC cryptopia wallet, do not despair, the solution is there and now I show you

Dear fans of cryptocurrencies, unfortunately, in December I made a distraction error by sending Bitcoin Cash on a Bitcoin wallet of the Cryptopia exchange. Error that in many cases is fatal, but in my case it was not because I managed to recover the BCH sent. Let's find out how!

Never forget!
When cryptocurrencies can be sent only on wallets of the same blockchain. So you can only send BTC to BTC, ETH to ETH and BCH to BCH. The change from one cryptocurrency to another can only be done internally to an exchange.
Obviously these are things that I know very well first. Unfortunately, however, such a mistake of distraction could make us completely lose our cryptocurrencies. Among other things, I realized that this error, and in particular the sending of BCH on BTC or vice versa is very common. So, the only advice I can give you is: "never make cryptocurrency transactions if you are not perfectly focused on what you are doing".

Solution to the problem

The bitcoin blockchain is different from that of bitcoin cash, so if we send our bitcoins to a bitcoin address, the result is that our bch will go into the bitcoin blockchain but can not be viewed. Their display is possible only through private keys. Not having the private keys of our wallet on Cryptopia we had to open a ticket with cryptopia and ask to be able to intervene for the recovery of our bitcoin cash that by mistake were sent to a bitcoin address.

Obviously we had to provide Cryptopia with the address of the transaction. To view our transaction we must go to a website that explores the blockchain of the sender's address, in our case the bitcoin cash address and then went to https://bccblock.info and we entered the address of our transaction .

Since as I said before it is a very frequent error that is committed, there is quite a bit to wait, but the employees of the Cryptopia exchange have become available change of faith of 10% of the amount sent. Cari appassionati di criptovalute, purtroppo, a dicembre ho commesso un errore di distrazione inviando dei Bitcoin Cash su un portafoglio Bitcoin dell'exchange Cryptopia. Errore che in molti casi è fatale, ma nel mio caso non lo è stato in quanto sono riuscito a recuperare i BCH inviati. Scopriamo come!

Non dimenticare mai!
Quando le criptovalute possono essere inviate solo su wallet della stessa blockchain. Quindi puoi inviare solo BTC su BTC, ETH su ETH e BCH su BCH. Il cambio da una criptovaluta ad un altra puoi farlo solo internamente ad un exchange.
Ovviamente sono cose che io per primo conosco benissimo. Purtroppo però un errore di distrazione del genere potrebbe farci perdere completamente le nostre criptovalute. Tra l'altro mi sono accorto che questo errore, ed in particolare l'invio di BCH su BTC o viceversa è molto comune. Quindi, l'unico consiglio che mi sento di darvi è: "non fate mai transazioni di criptovalute se non siete perfettamente concentrati su ciò che state facendo".

Soluzione al problema

La blockchain di bitcoin è differente da quella di bitcoin cash per cui, se andiamo ad inviare i nostri bitcoin cash ad un indirizzo bitcoin il risultato è che i nostri bch andranno nella blockchain di bitcoin ma non potranno essere visualizzati. La loro visualizzazione è possibile solo attraverso le chiavi private. Non disponendo delle chiavi private del nostro wallet su Cryptopia abbiamo dovuto aprire un ticket con cryptopia e chiedere di poter intervenire per il recupero dei nostri bitcoin cash che per sbaglio sono stati inviati ad un indirizzo bitcoin.

Ovviamente abbiamo dovuto fornire a Cryptopia l'indirizzo della transazione. Per visualizzare la nostra transazione dobbiamo andare in un sito che esplora la blockchain dell'indirizzo del mittente, nel nostro caso dell'indirizzo di bitcoin cash e siamo andati quindi su https://bccblock.info e abbiamo inserito l'indirizzo della nostra transazione.

Poiché come dicevo prima si tratta di un errore molto frequente che viene commesso, c'è un bel pò da aspettare, ma gli addetti dell'exchange Cryptopia si sono resi disponibili cambio di una fede del 10% dell'importo inviato. Dopo circa 3 settimane i bch inviati su btc di cryptopia sono stati recuperati e messi nel wallet bch di cryptopia.

Quindi, se dovesse per sbaglio capitare anche a te qualcosa del genere, sappi che il recupero è possibile ma occorre disporre delle chiavi private, perché nella blockchain non si perde mai nulla, è tutto registrato, al massimo non si riesce a vedere! Ecco perché è più giusto definire un wallet per criptovalute come un portachiavi, piuttosto che come un portafoglio, proprio perché ci dà le chiavi per leggere la blockchain e non un portafoglio per contenerle fisicamente!
