In this video I answer the question 'What is a bitcoin and how does it work?'. In doing that, I got into the history of bitcoin, the technology behind it, what it's used for, who amongst famous entrepreneurs are 'pro-bitcoin', how many people became very wealthy with bitcoin, why financial institutions and corporations have been investing in blockchain technology and expanding their acceptance of bitcoin and cryptocurrency, how you use bitcoin and why you would want to use it. I go over the pro's and con's of bitcoin and provide some excellent video segments as well to help with this Crypto 101 Education Series Lesson.
In answering the question "What is a bitcoin and how does it work" I reveal that 'altcoins' [alternative cryptocurrencies to bitcoin] with newer technologies have been developed over the years since bitcoin's rise to dominance in the market as a digital currency / cryptocurrency. That bitcoin is becoming old technology while altcoins are providing faster and more innovative solutions that can actually scale to a global demand of consumers / the marketplace.
