Are you LEAVING BITCOIN... & Why? Is it Alt Coin opportunities? The BTC politics & SegWit stalls? Something else? E.1
I've been considering asking people and doing this article for quite some time. The title really says it all.
I'd really love some of your input if you are willing to give it. And frankly I think it is a question needing to be asked and many could benefit from reading/discussing.
- Is the behaviour in the Bitcoin space bothering you?
- Is it the politics inside the Bitcoin space/community?
- Do you simply see Bitcoin market share dropping and Alt Coin Opportunities popping up and if so - what and why?
- Is it the divide and split in the community WRT to the SegWit issue/lack of implementation or something related?
- Do you see Arbitrage opportunities in the market to grab profits from Alt Coins and then pour those back into another Alt or into BTC again or later if the politics/issues get settled?
- Are you porting your gains into gold or silver or something else?
- Are you a Bitcoin Maximalist, and sticking it out and see regular BTC gains and happy with everything?
I am honestly, truly curious, I think a lot of people want to know or discuss this or learn, especially with new people entering the Bitcoin / Crypto space DAILY which is what we all want!

Diversifying stocks makes sense in the financial world. So why wouldn't that apply for cryptos?

I'll continue to HODL my bitcoin funds, however I have been making more and more payments through ETH because of the Bitcoin network congestion and the scaling issues.
I believe strongly my HODLings will some day help me afford my own house, however, with my KeepKey sometimes suggesting $2 fees, ETH will continue to be useful as currency in my eyes.

Often times me paying in ETH gets converted to BTC.. Funny, huh.
The question posed is on the mark. The best coin I've seen out there is Dash. I've heard people trash it, but their mindset seems similar to Apple's mindset before Apple "went big" with it's iPod's and iPhones. Not that BTC will fade to nothing--far from it.
I foresee a battle (hopefully a friendly one) between one of the emerging altcoins and BTC, and my bets are on Dash as the "digital David" to BTC's Goliath.

I've got 8 years crypto experience and double that in forex experience. Crypto is a lot more difficult to trade as the market is a lot thinner, so I very rarely trade it. I don't tend to like market caps that are under $700 billion. Bitcoin is only a measly $20 billion!!
This post has been ranked within the top 80 most undervalued posts in the second half of Apr 22. We estimate that this post is undervalued by $1.69 as compared to a scenario in which every voter had an equal say.
