SegWit activation nears as ArtByte hits 64.4% of required SegWit blocks!
SegWit activates on the ArtByte blockchain when 80% of the last 10,080 blocks have SegWit enabled. At the current rate, activation should happen by the end of this week.
After activation there is a two week lock-in period, requiring that the blockchain maintains 80% or higher SegWit blocks.
ArtByte is the digital currency supporting artists of all kinds. SegWit gives ArtByte the ability for off-chain transactions and smart contracts to address the needs of various creative rights holders.
