RE: Our Bitcoins Will Be Taken/Frozen By the Miners; Involuntary INCOME Tax on Frozen Bitcoin!

in #bitcoin5 years ago (edited)

Even if SegWit after a hard-fork goes on for "ever", with P2PKH type addresses you will sit on every subsequent fork simply by holding legacy, anyways.

But with involuntary income tax implications forced on every airdrop.

When the bible tought me one thing, then this: at the very moment you create "life" a.k.a. a "self-organizing dissipative structure- far from equilibrium/randomness", it will behave in a unanticipated manner.

Agreed if on some time aka informational horizon. But as I argued/explained on a preceding blog that within the sphere of correctly assimilated information, this becomes predictable, deterministic chaos.

So I don´t get the following: I don´t see any scenario where neither SegWit nor legacy can become Satoshis Vision.

Agreed. BSV isn’t legacy Bitcoin (because it mutated, has adaptive block sizes, etc) and isn’t Core “Bitco[i]n” because BSV doesn’t support SegWit. The ongoing (not sunk costs) “unforgeable costliness” production costs of minting Bitcoin (i.e. the value of Bitcoin) can’t be transferred to BSV. BSV is a completely separate shitcoin in the cryptocosm, with the only connection being it was airdropped (i.e. distributed) to all Bitcoin hodlers.

I don´t see any scenario where we don´t have to migrate to a completely [k]new system.

I explained in my reply to @khufu that “we” are only those who adhere to the command in 1 Samuel 8. Others will not want anonymity and fungibility more than they want surety, socialism, and an earthly king to rule over them, etc..

Even Ethereum will abandon the 1.0-Nakamoto-Type-Consensus.

Yup going proof-of-stake which is never permissionless, trustless as we learned here on Steemit.

So isn´t a 666-Coin unavoidable? As you said, there is no Ark. Bitcoin 1.0 (any Bitcoin 1.0) and the anarchistic paradise are incompatible.

As of the moment, there’s no discernible ark that I am aware of, other than spiritual salvation. A lot of work on technologies has been accomplished that could be potentially assimilated into an ark by the right dev(s).

I was very ill since 2012 (esp. 2015 forward) unfortunately. Very capable programmer and did extensive R&D from 2013 forward on the technologies and theory, but was suffering too much from some chronic health problems to work effectively. I think might be fatty liver and metabolic disease as the remnant complications of numerous other infections such as weekly bouts with dysentery/amoebas, dengue then tuberculosis. For the TB I took ~6 months of very liver toxic antibiotics in 2017. The daily ~5000 mg of high-risk antibiotics were so toxic for me (perhaps due to my older age and poor health/diet/living environment that preceded) that I was having episodes of allergic shock wherein I couldn’t swallow aka anaphylactic shock. I was advised to always carry an epinephrine epipen (but due to my stubborn “denial psychology” and sense of commitment to stoic masculinity, I never bought the epipen).

I don’t know what I or some other group might accomplish. Time is running short. I am becoming very aggressive. Fasting 20+ hours every day starting 4 days ago. I am determined to be able work again asap, but if the past years are any guide, the likelihood is my chronic condition will remain incurable. Very frustrating!

Although I note that while fasting my mental energy is probably stimulated enough to code. So maybe the sustainable relief (as a replacement for a “cure”) will be just staying in water-only fasting state most of the time.

We’ll see what happens…

thank you for your explanation.

Sugar, internet, convenience, sitting, poor sleep quality, light pollution, mould in food, estrogenic hormone disruptors in water, low social interaction, its a mess.

being a programmer is toxic too. I´m sure you can reset to a healthy state.
