The Shocking Revelations of #BISteemit
Five months ago I started the tag #bisteemit. The aim of this was to find others also interested in Data and data analytics with a common love of Steemit. Behind the tag, I also set up a community on discord and have given free training by way of online course access in Excel and Power BI to many of the members.
#bisteemit has been a success – here is some data to prove it
In 5 months, 753 post by 68 Authors were made with a gross post payout out value of $10,769.
2576 comments were made by 656 curators
I would like to take the time to thank all of the authors and curators involved in making #bisteemit an instant success.
Let’s have a look now at the stars of #bisteemit sorted by the number of posts contributed to the tag.
I would also like to give a special mention now to @eastmael has he has been a super supporter of #bisteemit by writing posts to with the aim of advertising the Business Intelligence team to a wider community.
Everyone that has contributed has been a superstar, and I have formed strong relationships with many of you and really enjoy the fun and intelligent chats over on discord.
Not only have we analysed the steemit data and provided valuable insights to the community via posts, but many people don’t know that behind the scenes many of the team have gathered data on request of others to just answer questions on discord.
#BISteemit has been such a success and we have grown so much, together as a team we are ready to embrace more, to add more value and to look at more data.
The use of Blockchain technology is growing rapidly, and with this brings competition to steemit, to STEEM and to SBD. Business Intelligence is also a growing field, and combined we have Blockchain Business Intelligence.
#BISteemit has out grown its title, we are now ready to provide intelligence about other platforms, other blockchains and all things relevant.

I will be doing more work off Steemit to promote the work of this community. I am already talking with some developers on other blockchain projects( so we get first access to data) and I will also be tweeting many of the BlockchainBI posts to try get the exposure deserved.

From what I perceive right now, the team is composed of people who are already familiar with data analysis.
One avenue of growth I'm looking at is how to train people to become data analysts to create business intelligence contributions. Perhaps in the near future we can have an apprentice program with the aim of teaching people to do data analysis.

the idea of an apprentice program is good. I put a syllabus together today for a data analytics pathway I will be delivering, and I will then put it in online format and we can use that...but we are talking Q2 next year before I be on that one
So exciting to see the 'rebirth' of bisteemit! Looking forward to the great work from people in the team. And when you get to infographics and data visualization, I will be keen to develop some content for it as well :)
I'm open to try this. Where can you point me on how to get started? I know what an infographic is, but I'm not sure how or what data I can provide for a contributor to create one.
So the words that caught my eye were 'data visualization'. I think I can start there. I think I you already posted a site before on examples for it. Would you mind sharing that again here?

Sorry, I didn't quite get it. Lol. What I meant to address here is that putting on the online apprentice program in 2018 Q2 is better than 2018 Q4.

Most can be replied to with a short sentence, and so it doesn't really take so long. I think it's good to try and respond to everything that makes some sort of sense, you never know who is watching :)
