25th December 1876 was the day a great man was born, Quaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah played a major role in the independence of Pakistan. As a youngster he was a strong believer of an independent India, and after completing his law studies joined Congress. Soon enough he realized the difference in thinking between Muslims and the Hindus of subcontinent. He then joined Muslim League which was later known as Pakistan Muslim League.

Quaid E Azam was a great advocate of the Two Nation theories he had many meetings with Gandhi and Lord Mountbatten over compensation but he stayed firm with his decision and backed it up. On 14 August 1947 Pakistan was an independent nation, the sacrifices our elders made cannot br forgotten the struggle for a separate nation was so severe that Quaid E Azam didn't worry about anything else than to see a safe and free land where Muslims can practice their religion. Pakistan is the only country made on the base of religion that is Islam. On his first speech after the independence of Pakistan he had to motivate his nation to do hard work as this was the start of a long journey ahead. "You are free, you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or any other place of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or cast or creed — that has nothing to do with the business of the State ... Now I think we should keep that in front of us as our ideal and you will find that in course of time Hindus would cease to be Hindus and Muslims would cease to be Muslims, not in the religious sense, because that is the personal faith of each individual, but in the political sense as citizens of the State" Muhammad Ali Jinnah Source

Quaid E Azam had delivered his promise in creating Pakistan but his health had deteriorated. He kept a secret from the nation The Father of the Nation was suffering from Tuber Colossus he had sacrificed everything for us. On 11th September 1948 he passed away. "I have lived as plain Mr. Jinnah and I hope to die as plain Mr. Jinnah.
