My Joy is Within
When depression decapitates myself esteem
And leaves me bleeding within
A hole that's of my own making
I find my joy within
I fear that I may lose my light
I go to bed, I can't sleep at night
I'm picked at by a parasite
I find my joy within
The mocking words, I hear them say
That all the day in bed I lay
I... didn't.. want. to be this way
I find my joy within
In this world no hope I find
Like Jesus said, the blind lead the blind
So listen to me cos I'm not right?
I find my joy within
Within me is a golden chalice
That's filled up from a holy palace
I know a love which holds no malice
I find my joy with Him
