Invest in the Human Soul

At the heart of each blockchain (of value) exists a community who fuels it, who gives freely to the network and its perceived vision as aligned with one's own philosophies. In so doing they shape and mold the vision of what that community is to become. Each network have many various types of participants, from miners (minters/witnesses/nodes...etc) to daytraders--from community builders, coders, visionaries and marketing gurus to simple longterm hodlers with a sparkle in their eye and an undying loyalty to believing in the value of their coins. In short, it is fair to say we each add value in our own little way.

Diamonds in the Rough

In every community, however, there are those who go above and beyond what would be considered "average" participation. They seem to live it. Breathe it. Care so much for it and all involved that it becomes obvious to onlookers they have fashioned (knowingly or unknowingly) a legacy and standard by which others measure future leaders. They are diamonds in the rough...

Pointing out the Shining Stars

These individuals go above and beyond what most are willing to commit and are often compensated far less than their efforts deserve in both time and monetary reward. But the community members around them know who they are and can identify them easily when approached and asked to do so. And this is why Beyond Bitcoin exists--to give voice to those communities and empower them to uplift both themselves and those around them.

I like to call these people "Allstars" as without them these social movements backed by a blockchain we call "cryptocurrencies" would not be the same. For this reason I wish to shine a light on them and hope for the communities that communities approached will consider helping me to accomplish this.

This initiative will be the first in the new series @officialfuzzy calls "The Block Explorer" Series where I will travel across the blockchain space to meet and interview the individuals in each community who fill the infinite expanse of ideas like shining stars in night sky.

The Block Explorer prepares for Launch into Crypto Space

This initiative is called Beyond Bitcoin: "Community Allstars" and after all interviews are finished, we will have a hangout with the community's allstars to give an overview of all the cool possibilities. These interviews will be edited and polished to help ensure a crystal clear story is captured and archived as part of crypto history for chosen chains and associated communities.

With this said, the obvious first stop is BitShares, but I hope to give the community one final chance to add the names they feel should be added to the list below as I personally believe some are missing. Finally, I want to give a bit thank you to all Beyond Bitcoin supporters. Your support has always been and always will be the foundation of Beyond Bitcoin--and that foundation has empowered me to accomplish many things I could never have accomplished on my own. Couple that with Steem-based support and it becomes easy to see why I'm so thankful.
