When I go on a hike I love to take photos of chipmunks and I also love the balancing stone structures that people build, so to get both in one picture was a real treat.
This is an entry for #bwphotocontest with theme Animals, a black&white photography contest by @daveks.

Great shot! I love both of these things too, the balancing rocks always fascinate me!
There's plenty to find of both on Mt Shasta. Some of the balancing rocks seem to defy gravity, quite amazing!
