Behind the curtain challenge! Will you accept the challenge?
This post is in response to a challenge. I was nominated by @hebrewhousewife.
If you want to know how this challenged got started you can follow this LINK.
I do pretty much everything related to Steemit at "my day job". When I go home I don't use much technology. As you can see below I sit in front of a few screens for most of the day! I have accepted the challenge and here you can see the behind the curtain for me! This is my view, minus a few work related items that I removed for the picture!
Here are the rules for the challenge if anyone else is interested in joining.
- Take a picture of yourself working on Steemit, or what you see while you work on Steemit.
- Tag 5 Steemians in your post.
- Use the #behindthecurtain tag
If interested, here are a few of my other posts from this past week!
This challenge is spreading quickly and is fun to see what others post. With that said here are my nominations... @bowentroyer, @randomstuff, @hansjurgen, @ironshield, @shalomacres
THANKS!
I, too, was kind of hoping to see a picture of you. I guess I’ll settle for the drawing lol! I’m curious if you work for a hospital, clinic, etc? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to either. I used to work in the insurance claims department at my local hospital/clinic and your picture reminded me of it. Granted, I only had 2 screens. Can’t say I miss it either!
P.S. I had a great Shabbat! I was exploring torahfamily.org quite a lot today, and I think I’ll sign up for the daily devotionals.
HAHA...not ready for my close up just yet! How about this for a vague answer to where I work...yes and no! :-) If I was on some land and or working from home I would not miss the screens either, that is why I don't get on technology once I leave work.....Glad to hear about your great Shabbat, it is always the best day of the week!! Torahfamily is a great resource and Steve has some great teachings. It is also nice that he some out there for all the members of a family! I'm glad you will be signing up for his devotions. I know you see some of them when I post one, but now you will be able to see all of them! Shalom!
Thanks @simms50 for participating! I love that you're free to Steem at work, and then you're able to turn it all off when you get home!
It was and has been fun to follow/participate in this challenge, thanks for starting it! And yes I am blessed that I can get on Steemit at work, I also figure that when I get home I can do other productive things....there is always something to do around the house and now it is starting to warm up outside so it is about time to get the garden ready!
Yes! There is always something thay needs to be done around the house, and even more during warm months!
Now that is cool looking that you can still be at steemit while at work!
Yes, God has provided me a job where I can get on Steemit throughout the day!
Thanks for tagging me! I'll see if I can get a photo together... although it may be Sunday. @ironshield
Understood...Shabbat is almost here! I'll be sure to check it out whenever you get to it!
Awesome! Was hoping to see your face! :)
I post it in almost all of my posts...yes it is a character sketch but it is pretty close. A Hebrew man with glasses and a beard! Here it is again!
That's a lot of computer screens. I am not much of a challenge guy. Thanks for the nomination though
I would rather be looking at rolling hills than screens all day, but this is where God has me right now! As for the challenge...YOU DARE not accept my challenge....YOU SIR I challenge to a duel then!!! :- D
I stared at a computer screen for 9 years. I feel your pain. You sir have a great Shabbat!
Enjoy a "warm" Shabbat! Have a great one!
Also...how did you go from computer screen to cows? I'm sure there a story there, might make a good post....unless you already did one which I missed!
Blessing from the Lord. I only had two monitors so you have me beat there;)
Yes, having 3 is nice! But how did you go from computers to cows? :-D
I always wanted to be a cattle farmer. I worked for the Department of Defense for 9 years as an auditor. Moved 9 times with the government saved every penny and the Lord blessed us all along the way. Ended up getting out of government service and starting the farm. That is short short and sweet version.
Thanks for the short and sweet version. Now that you are walking even closer to Him may He bless you and your family even more!
That's a nice set up you've got there! @ironshield
Thanks!
