More Beer - Golden Ale Beer
More light beers, on a roll with these pale faced beers. And being pleasantly surprised. See I like more than the dark brews. I like some of the light guys also. And on a roll tonight, drinking and posting. Woo hoo!

- Company Description: Our lightest beer, a golden colored, aromatic, top fermented brew that is light in body but not on the palate. It is brewed with pale malts and Citra hops to produce a clear, delicate and refreshing character session beer.
Presentation
This beer comes in a 12 oz aluminum can with gold, brown and black graphics. Has a picture of Old Faithful erupting and a fisherman catching a fish to tie in the Yellowstone theme. There are some extensive descriptions of the beer and the company on one side and some alternate graphics with brewery name and beer name on the other side. I have tried most of Lewis and Clarks beers and they have all been in 12 oz cans.
The Beer
- Appearance: A golden colored beer with slight cloudiness, had a pretty good cream colored head on the pour.
- Aroma: Had a grassy aroma, kind of light, not strong nor were there any other aromas noted.
- Taste: I was surprised by this one, tasted good, light and crisp, clean with a refreshing taste. I liked it more than I had expected based on another friends comments on this beer.
- Mouthfeel: Carbonated with a grassy finish. Very slightly hoppiness.
- Drinkability: This is a very drinkable beer, not high in abv at 4.9%, and refreshingly light. I could see a number of these being downed in a sitting.
Rating and Final Thoughts
I rated this a 3.5 on Untappd which is pretty good for a pale ale for me. Three of my friends rated it 3.58 and its overall with 954 ratings was 3.46 so very consistent amongst the untappd crowd. Which is pretty solid with not a lot of swing on the rating. Another "summer" type beer but this is one of their year round beers, likely a very good seller in the taproom and in retail.

thanks, it was better than I expected. A friend told me it was a crap beer but I needed to fill out a build a six pack at Super 1 so I grabbed one. Pleasantly surprised.
