Hello Steemians !

The beer today is quite special because somehow if you had followed me for a while, you already know about it. It's the Pécheresse ! This beer is one of the two used to make the Pêche Mel Bush and it's the one which brings the fruity touch. If you want to bring back a beer from Belgium for a lady, you can be sure to make a good choice by picking this one. I don't know a female friend of mine who doesn't like it. Here is a close-up of the label that I found quite... Interesting ;-)

Description

 
The name of this beer is, in fact, a pun ! Actually, it's a peach flavored beer and in French (because we also speak French in Belgium for those who doesn't know) the word peach is translated by Pêche. Even more, the word itself pécheresse means sinner which is greatly represented by the label.
Anyway, this beer is a lambic with 2,5% and is made with 30% of peach juice which is a huge proportion compared to another fruity beer. It was created in 1987 by the Lindemans brewery located in the north of Brussels. This brewery is also making other fruity beer with tastes like : strawberry, apple, black currant,...

Tasting

 
Time to taste ! As expected, there is a strong peach smell, very pleasant. The first sip is amazing, it's so soft and sweet ! It's very fruity with obviously, a peach taste which stays a while. The lack of sparklingness is specific of the Gueuze and goes very well in with the beer. However, it's a little sour but remind me of the previously tested beer, the Pêche Mel Bush.
Fun fact, if you or your lover drink this beer, well for a while you or him/she will taste like peach !

I rate this beer 14/20, I really enjoy this beer but it's too sweet for me. After one I've enough of my little peach candy. Still, I strongly recommend you to try this one if you have the chance to do so.
