Althea Talk #011: Get It Beauty Con 2018
Dear Steemians,
Was able to catch a glimpse of Get It Beauty's Get It Beauty Con Fall 2018 at the DDP. First, the DDP. DDP stands for Dongdaemun Design Plaza, which kind of looks like the Namekian spaceship out of the Dragonball series, with a slogan that goes like "Dream, Design, Play".
It's at right smack dap center of one of the hot touristy shopping areas around. Anyways, it is located on the number 2 green subway line as you can see below, as well as a link here to see what kind of programs you may be interested in, in the case you are in Korea at the time.
Apparently, there is another typhoon on its way to Korea at the moment, so this past Friday and today have been quite rainy and dreary. Anyways, part of our team went to the Get It Beauty Con (I'm going to call it GIB Con for short going forward) and as our company is K-Beauty focused, everyone went wild with excitement! GIB is probably the most famous beauty-oriented show in Korea where they do a lot of reviews, introductions, etc on the latest beauty trends and products. They have a festival twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Here was their introductory video on Youtube.
Wanted to share a few photos from the event! The event lasts until Sunday so check it out if you are in Korea at the time. It would be something fun to do!
