Hello friends, today I am going to share with you a visit to a magical place on the island of Margarita:
The Fortin de La Galera.
The Fort of the Galera is located in the city of Juangriego on the island of Margarita. The fort was built for the purpose of protecting the port of Juangriego in 1810 and was rebuilt in 1954. It is located in the two bays of Juangriego and La Galera. To access the fort you must climb a stone staircase, at the top four cannons are observed. In the lower part is the monument.
The view from the fort is really beautiful at all times, Juangriego is famous for its sunsets. My prince was very happy in one of the cannons.
In this shot you can see the town and the small boats.
The monument is the white that is seen at the end of the photo.
There are also living statues in the place; this makes it very fun (My son told me "you're the only one who smiles when they're going to kill you" hahahaha)

These historic place build to place the canons always seem to have a good view of the beach. You little man is a fan of Barcelona huh.
Almost all the castles are facing the sea, except one that is in the capital called Santa Rosa but still has a beautiful view, later I will show a walk through that area. My son is a fan of Madrid 😜. Regards..!
