Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday - Thailand Village Festival !!

My last Sunday's adventure was quite a unexpected one i decided to go for a walk at one of my favorite parks not far from my apartment i will always find something interesting going on in this park and you wouldn't believe it there was a Thailand Tourist Festival 2019 happening the whole park was taken up by this festival and my body was shaking with excitement just like a little kid couldn't wait to get in amongst all this action.

To be honest with you i had never heard of this particular festival and i didn't know what i was going to be walking into but it sounded like the festival was pumping away with good vibes.

As soon as i got into the park i could see a huge stage there in front of me with loud laughter coming from this crowd of people sitting on these benches under this massive tree , there was a Thai comedy show going on. It looked funny with all the action they were doing but i couldn't really understand so i walked around the back of the stage and noticed these beautiful young ladies doing a pratice warm up before going on stage so i decided to hang around and watch this show , after i had take some photos of these performers i move back around to the front of the stage and find myself a good spot.

Moving back around to the front of the stage it had got more crowded and the atmosphere felt great i could hardly wait to see these beautiful performers do there village custom Thai dancing and acting.

These dance performances were of celebrations in victory of wining the war between Siam and Burma. Bangkok city was known as Siam city before the war after the war Siam city was replaced by the name Bangkok city which is what we know it as today.

I had not arrived at this park to late afternoon and there was so much to see and already after this performance it was starting to get dark but that didn't worry me there was plenty of lights around the park to brighten up the evening and next were these unbelievable band of drummers mixing it in with a bit of comedy.

Now honestly these were class acts.

What i had worked out is that all the villages from the North , South and the East have all come together in one big area to show not only the Thai people but the tourist of the world there way of culture from these village and with them come all the traditional ways of there costumes , singing and dancing. This was awesome the only thing i was upset about was i had only caught this festival on it's last day of it's last few hours and i had to move around quickly to try and see a bit of performance from every village.

Eastern Village with the Techno and Hip Hop music in Thai and Western.

Northern Village with there soft and funky classic music in Thai.

Northern Village also love there rock-n-roll music.

The Northern Villages are also great fishing boat builders.

The Southern Village show off a lot of there Cane and Bamboo art as it's famous for that.

The Southern Villages hand make a large amount of bird cages , umbrellas and just a lot of artistic lampshades for distribution around Thailand.

From all the village the cool Isaan Northern village has got the coolest traditional dances and customs they are my favorite party people they know how to entertain and party till you drop.

The one thing the Isaan people love partying in big groups in the village every weekend after all there chores are done on the farm they get into partying they love preforming and dancing :)

And the festival has come to a end it's closing time the Thai public love getting there photos done with superstars they feel proud to have these performers from there villages.

I will be certainly be keeping a eye out for this festival to return back to Bangkok city next year the few hours i had at this festival were certainly the best few hours of entertainment i have seen for a while absolutely superb.
