📷Beautiful Sunday – Travel by Ferry📷
Hello and happy Sunday for all the steemians! ... For the tag today I want to share some nice images of a ferry trip that I made with my father almost fifteen years ago. This week I shared some pictures of this trip because I recently found and I thought that I had deleted.
This image is of the ferry at Punta de Piedras on Margarita Island before leaving. I confess that I love the smell of a truck engine and the one that produces the ferry itself.
Here we were already on the way to Cumana (Sucre state). It is a very strange and nostalgic feeling what I feel when I separate from the island where I was born.
Not far from the coast we find an exclusive boat for the cargo of Polar cervesa, an emblematic brand with a very long trajectory in the Venezuelan tradition. It is being escorted by a trailer (we do not want all that beer to stay in the middle of the sea 😆)
Later we reached a platform boat that only takes longer gandolas, this boat has no cabin so passengers have to stay inside their trucks.
Here the ferry is accommodating to dock with the dock. As a curiosity I will tell you that the return trip we traveled on the boat that is ahead, that is more comfortable and more beautiful.
The process of coupling the ferry with the dock I seemed fascinating, obviously I had never seen anything like it. I remember that they made a lot of noise and the ship staggered. It was great.

I went on a drive on Ferry some 10 years ago, I went from Aberdeen in Scotland to Orkney - a small Island off the top coast of the United Kingdom. It actually took 15 hours to travel to that island - which took 33 minutes to drive length to length!
I'm with you on that smell of diesel fumes and engine oil burning on a hot block, back in my days on the farm the tractors always had a unique smell and after a while it becomes quite familiar.
Fantastic trip out for #SublimeSunday - new or old it's still a day you remember and we can enjoy.

You quite weird to like the smell of a truck engine :-) but I guess some of the things that bring back nice memories is regardless of how it smells
