我出去大闸拍这张。
Then decided to go into the building.
然后，决定进去这城隍庙。
This poster told me the decorations are here for a few days over the weekend only.
这张海报告诉我装饰只在这里几天。
This other poster tells me they have a opera show to celebrate 120 years anniversary.
另一张海报则告诉我将会有剧团来为120周年庆祝演出。
Hmm… seems there is a photo competition.
嗯。。。好像有个摄影比赛哦。
A picture of the lanterns outside the hall.
拍张大厅外的灯笼。
After I came out, I took another shot.
出来后，再拍一张。
Heading out and there was a crowd for food and fun.
走开看到挺多人在吃和小朋友在玩乐。
Going back to the middle section.
回去中间区。
The dragon was moving around but I thought the dragon dance was supposed to be later.
看见这舞龙可是依节目应该晚点才开始嘛。
So, I better take a few shots here.
那还是快点拍几张。
Then it's gone.
然后，它走掉了。
Inside the temple building of the middle section, there was a kind of queue of people walking and chanting.
在中间区的寺庙建筑内，有一群人走着念经。
The pagoda can be see from inside here and you see a bit of the residential blocks around.
从里面也看到宝塔和附近的组屋区。
This was outside the grand hall.
这是在大雄宝殿外。
Closer to the grand hall now and I can see the deer.
更靠近大雄宝殿看到这些鹿。
Just outside the grand hall, there are more deer.
快进宝殿更加多的鹿。
Passed the grand hall and looking back at the grand hall.
穿过大雄宝殿后回看一下宝殿。
Oh deer. More deer decorations here.
又有鹿灯饰。
Up there, you could call it the "library" where the scriptures are supposed to be kept.
上面是藏经阁。看到吗？
Right below the "library" was a family of cranes.
藏经阁下面有群鹤。
Then there were also peacocks around.
还有孔雀。

Wonderful lighting and great photos @ace108 It must have been a great atmosphere.
It may be been better if I was there on Monday the actual festival day but I cannot be sure because it's not a holiday.
I attended a Spring Festival (amongst others) in Guangzhou when we lived there a few years ago and it was spectacular. I just wish I was into photography back then and had the time get out and about to get some memorable shots @ace108 It probably wouldn't have mattered what day you visited this festival but I daresay it would have been more crowded in the weekend which makes it more of a challenge for keen photographers. I really enjoyed viewing these photos. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.

I visited Guangzhou few years back. Great place especially for food too.
I find the tourist attractions are very crowded on weekends.
Guangzhou always appeared crowded to us @ace108 compared to what we were used to in Brisbane, but that was part of the attraction and excitement for us. We were there in 2003, 2006 and again in 2009 and with each visit I couldn't get over the rapid changes which took place. It is constantly changing and evolving.
Yes, the pace of change in Chinese cities are amazing in the last 2 decades.
