Seven Solid Reasons to buy Basic Attention Token (BAT)…
...and a few words of caution.

Why you should buy BAT:
1. Developer team and advisors
The creator of JavaScript, the co-founder of Mozilla and Firefox, Brandan Eich.
Other developers and advisors have backgrounds with Yahoo, Tor Project, AOL, Netscape, Wall Street Journal, Coinbase, Facebook and Google… I rest my case, your honor.
2. The Brave browser
Basically blocks all adds. I’ve tried it and it’s actually awesome. No glitches, no bs, intuitive, great browser. The lack of adds makes browsing faster (on my PC, anyways).
3. Marketplace listings
Is currently only listed on Bittrex and a bunch of minor exchanges. Given the seriousness of the project and the credentials of the developer team, there should be little doubt that BAT will be listed on Poloniex, and perhaps Kraken and other big exchanges, in a relatively near future. This typically results in major gains, at least temporarily.
4. The current price
BAT tokens have been trading at and above the 30 cent level. Is currently trading right below 22 cent. I believe it’s completely undervalued at this time. I bought it a while back, and recently picked up some more tokens because of price flucuations.
5. The mission
The basic idea is to steal add revenue from the big players on the market – primarily Google. If this is possible, it would seem that this is the crowd to pull it off. This market is enormous, and the idea of attracting users that don’t like adds – while simultaneously offering advertisers to pay to show adds to this group – seems pretty ingenious.
6. Rumors
According to Coindesk, BAT recently shared an article on their Facebook page, describing that Disney, Comcast, NBC and others were working on a blockchain solution to stream and broadcast their products. Whether this has anything to do with BAT directly remains to be seen, but it is certainly possible that this is the case – again – maybe especially because of the developer team. Highly speculative, though.
7. Exodus adaptation
Bat has just been integrated in the Exodus Wallet. This may seem like a small thing, but only a few currencies are supported by this wallet, and them taking BAT on board is definitely a seal of approval.
However...
The circulating supply is currently 1 billion. It’s capped at 1.5 billion. I don’t know when the rest of the tokens are planned to be distributed, but it will most likely result in significant price drop from whatever level the price is at.
Furthermore, the token sale was over in less than 30 seconds. A few people picked up large quantities of BAT tokens. This means that if one or more of these individuals decide to sell huge quantities, the price could suffer significantly. Personally, I don’t worry too much about this. I like to think that whoever bought BAT tokens worth $4.7 million, did so because the believed in the project long term, - as do I.
