Flightsimulator - Ilyushin Il-76MD (my open source work)
One of my latest aircraft developments in FlightGear is the Ilyushin Il-76MD. In this post I will show you the main features in pictures, have fun!
The Scalpel Version has a mobile hospital on board, its nickname is Flying Hospital
The Ilyushin Il-76MD is meant for parachute operations and landing of military personnel, military equipment, cargoes, fuel and containers. By reinforcing its main structural elements (airframe and landing gear), the maximum takeoff weight and commercial load have been increased.
Loading 2 fire fighting trucks
120 Paratroopers are dropping from the sides and from the main cargo door
Inside there are 190 instruments, lamps and switches, all working and animated
Ambient ground lights

Those are some awsome effects ! I used to play this game long ago but could never land the plane right :(
Cool! My airplanes you may fly in the cockpit, without joystick. Landing with ILS should get you back to earth in a safe way. FlightGear has a lot of new stuff impemented and I think it is one of the best simulators. Real weather, air traffic controler, all frequencies for navigation, real time light effects and and and ....
I know so much has changed in the game , I can tell by your pictures , now it seems so much more real than before , the effects and the detail are just awsome !!

Yees ... this type of aircraft is the most striking example of reliable air transport.
It was quite tricky to get all flight dynamics in the right way, but now it is an amazing aircraft for lots of tasks.

We do not call it game, we say simulator :)
You need some kind of understanding of navigation and each aircraft has his own flight-dynamics so it is much more than a game. Here you see us flying live:
