With the current chain of events in which The Australian Government via The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has begun following through on its regulations on ICO's and the general treatment and status of Crypto currencies in Australia it has become necessary to ensure our visitors have available the relevant links so as to stay informed.
As you can see in the featured image, when you click on "LINKS" in our menu, the links are divided into 2 sections now:
Australian Government
&
Steem Blockchain
In future this may get divided into two separate menu items, but for now it shall all be available under the one menu item.
What did we add:
For starters, alongside the link from the Australian Taxation Office that was there from earlier we have finally added links to the official ASIC web pages covering Initial coin offerings (ICOs).

In the "Steem Blockchain" portion of the page we shall be adding new links, however in the meantime one of the links was removed as a result of the app allegedly starting up its own blockchain and getting off our Steem blockchain.

The basic rundown of the contest is:
Write a post about one of the following:
a) How you promote Steem on the internet or elsewhere,
(apart from/not including posting on one of the front end apps hooked up to the Steem blockchain. i.e. not on Steemit.com or Busy.org etc.),
b) How you believe Steem can be promoted by any of us Steemians to help Steem go to the moon,
c) How Steempress can make Steem go to the moon,
or
d) Do a promotion about one of the front end apps i.e. Busy.org, Dlive, Steempeak etc etc etc
So as to ensure STEP 1 is completed, in your post, you shall have to provide proof of work or proof of concept.
It can be as simple as some screenshots or photos!
For the post to be applicable it must include the following two TAGS:
1) #promo-steem & 2) #steemaustralia
As we make additions and significant modifications to www.steemaustralia.org we shall keep you informed via updates such as this one.
The reason why the links to the official Australian Government sources were added is along the following guideline:
