Direct imaging of exoplanets around Sirius
Those are planets orbiting Sirius, look how they are all in the same orbital plane. Compare with Jupiter and its moons, you see an identical formation with moons at different positions along the orbital plane, first observed by Galileo Galilei in the 1600s. As you can see, and as Galileo noted, the angular diameter of Sirius is large, and it is so because it is very close, around 300 astronomical units. The reason you are able to observe three exoplanets, probably gas giants, is because the Sirius system is very close.
