Asian stocks are trading near a 10-year high
Asian stocks rallied Thursday to trade near their 10-year highs to follow the footsteps of US stocks, which are trading at record highs as part of a rally that is dominating global equity indices.
The rise in Asian stocks is supported by the improvement in recent data on the global economies, especially in the industrial sector, in addition to the report of the International Monetary Fund, which showed an improvement in the levels of performance of the global economy, which has raised the expectations of global growth in 2017 and 2018.
Japanese stocks rose today, with Japan's TOPIX gaining 0.34% to add 4.50 points to 1,309.17. Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 0.46% to 95.09 points, up to 20,976.36.
Chinese equities advanced today as the CSI 300 index gained 0.08% to 2.95 points and hit 3,905.64. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.06% to 1,91 points, reaching 3,386.37 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.01% to 1.06 points to 28,388.51. South Korea's Kospi Index rose 0.15% to 3.70 points to 2,461.86
New Zealand's NZX 50 index gained 0.15% to 12.39 points and reached 8,073.37.
On the other hand, Australia's S & P / ASX 200 index gained 0.19% to 11.05 points, up to 5,783.20.
