Today I want to show you my old work, which I called the Mechanical Man.🤖💙
I love this picture very much, because these are the times when I constantly drew in graphics ... I worked with simple pencils. These were the times of youthful maximalism and rebellion in the soul.🤯
I imagined what a modern man looked like that burned out.
I believed! The modern world saves man from the need to think. 🤫Our eyes are replaced by upbringing, thoughts are rules, personal opinion are stereotypes, desires are commercials. Everything has already been invented, fixed, laid out in its place ... Do not think, but listen, watch and remember. You have already been taken care of. My head with this shampoo, sleep on these beds, wear these jeans. Yes, of course, you have the right to choose, but why? As long as you choose, meditate, analyze, time will pass. So do not bother your head with nonsense. Live comfortably, may your every day be a celebration of unlimited consumption.😌
His eyes say that he is tired, he is very tired. And the hands speak of strength, of workers calluses. He is tired, but he does not give up and continues to repair himself, he goes forward.😤

I really like this drawing and the description, @curly-xu. I like the idea that the man can actually fix himself, or reprogram his mind, That's great.
It's pretty true_we do get programmed in certain ways throughout our lives. I also believe its true that we can break free from it if we choose to. I think many do as they age and get a little more aware of the world around them and how things work versus how they really should be.
A great image on its own, and great message to go with it. :)

What an interesting piece, @curly-xu :D I really like how you captured the man's focus and pose with this portrait! He really seems like he's absorbed in the task of fixing something with his head ! The hand pose, the direction of his eyes' line of sight, and the detailing of his mechanical parts are all done VERY well!
Love how you captured the lines of his tiredness, there are many years in this mechanical man's life, to be sure. A very lovely portrait, you are very skilled with the pencil!!!
