🎨 Phoenix - The power of Resilience 🔥
¡Greetings, steemianos!
Each person's life has unpredictable but inevitable alternation of ups and downs. Moments of splendor that we would like to eternalize, imbricated with others of pain that we fear never to overcome. Idealized well-being does not consist of having only moments of glory and personal fulfillment, but in knowing this alternation and learning to live in it, not with it, but in it. So, we must learn to enjoy and treasure each of those wonderful moments that life offers us and overcome the moments of difficulty.
Today I share with you a drawing inspired by the mythological "Phoenix Bird". This emblematic creature of fire capable of rising majestically from the ashes of its own destruction, also symbolizes the power of resilience, that unrivaled ability that human beings have to adapt and overcome adversity. As I mentioned in my Previous post, many times we lock ourselves in a bubble of all those things that affect us negatively, and it is because of this, that it is difficult for us to overcome the adversities that life brings us. A complicated, painful or traumatic experience will always be negative and difficult to overcome, however, what happens from it depends on each person.
In our hands is rising again, come alive once again from our ashes in a triumph without equal or on the contrary, just to collapse or keep locked in a "bubble." Remember:
Sketch and Colored
I made a sketch in pencil of a girl with certain characteristics of the phoenix, as are the wings, fire and tails that emblematize this mythological creature. Later, I began to color the skin of our phoenix girl and the fire that covers her in the lower area. (。>﹏<。)
For the hair of the girl I made a gradient with the colors that represent the fire (yellow, orange and red). Their eyes I drew them big and with a gentle glance, being these the only part of the drawing that delineate with marker (0,5 mm), because it wanted that they were showy and stood out, since one of the gifts of the Fénix was to heal the wounds of other living beings with their tears. Likewise, I colored the wings of many colors and with fire at the top, because according to the legend:
When Adam and Eve were expelled, an angel carrying a sword of fire was appointed to guard the gates of paradise and prevent the couple from returning to Eden. Pushed by love and loyalty, the Phoenix bird tried to prevent the doors from closing definitively for their friends. Then, a spark jumped from the keeper's sword and the bird's beautiful plumage flared, ending with its life in a multicolored flare.
