Hi @li-art , your painting is so perfect! The brass look like real! I want to congratulate you because it must be so difficult to find the pefect combination of light and color with simple color pencils. You are really talented!

·

thank you very much :-) , not that much difficult.... <3

That golden shiny teapot is so attractive! I really like how you painted it, it is beautiful, golden, and shiny.

The teapot looks so real that I can imagine the temperature of the metal. You did a great job using only colored pencils. I have tried that brand of pencils that you used and they are very good, they give good quality covering. I like how you could give texture to the towel on which the fruits rest, you did a great job giving a realistic touch to the drawing, congratulations.

·

thank you very much :-) <3 .. for your nice comment ..

Wow your drawing is beautiful, at first glance it looks like a marker or painting, that is what is achieved with good colors and a great talent for its position, the brightness of the teapot is fabulous.
I really LOVE your piece, everything in general is very well achieved, the pearls have a lovely shine, excellent as all your drawings, a big hug @li-art

·

thank you so much friend <3 ,,, i appreciate your nice words , hug

Hey @li-art, today is my lucky day because i found your post. I love used color pencil to draw but i have limited skill on how to draw round thing like the teapot and pearl. I felt excited when I saw your post, even more excited when you listed down what color you used for the drawing. May I know how you draw the shining part? How you made it look shining? I tried before, but failed :(

·

thank you so much friend <3 , for the lights just need to let the white part , and don't paint it , use some different various of colors , and it will work

·
·

Hey @li-art, thank you for checking out my post :) (shy shy). Nothing can compare with yours.
Ah ok, i tried it before. The white part it seems disconnect with the other color, it became weird :P Maybe my shading not good enough.

·
·
·

i think for some texture like silver needs to be disconnect with other colors, but for ,,,for example fruits , you can blend some parts of white edges with other colors around it . <3

Thanks for the guidance @li-art, I will give a try in my next drawing.

you are welcome, and you are very kind ,i really appreciate <3 <3

This looks so nice, Li!! It looks almost like a digital painting, I love the colors you chose for this and how you were able to blend them in perfectly, especially that of the pears.

Nice piece, you did a great job with this! Now, i want to have some Tea from that kettle....😊

·

thank you so much , hahaha , hot tea :D <3 @audreybits

·

thank you so much :-) <3

Hi @li-art! Your colour pencil drawing and painting is beautiful! I love how shiny the brass teapot and the pearls look, especially the teapot! I love how the teapot and pearls sit on the napkin and blue table. And your process step-by-step sharing is awesome. Did you follow an actual photo or actual arrangement to draw and paint or was it something from your own imagination? It is really good!

·

thank you so much :-) <3 yes i draw it from picture

·
·

It is beautiful @li-art. Thank you so much for bringing us your lovely piece of artwork :)

·

thank you so much :-) <3 following you too

Very nice still life, @li-art :) I like the colours in this one a lot ! You can make different textures so well with the coloured pencils ! Amazing !

·

thank you so much @veryspider <3

That is a colored pencil drawing? It is very beautiful! It actually looks like an oil painting with the shiny pot and even the pears. I specially like the pot. The gloss effect looks so nice with the brass impression. I also like the contrast of colors brown, red nd blue. They make the whole aura of the drawing to be colorful and alive. I suppose your mom will be happy to see this hanging in your kitchen or dining area. 😊

Thanks for sharing your great artwork Lia. Great job! Good luck on the contest! 😊

·

wow thank you very much @macoolette , so kind of you ,,, <3
well i didn't frame it yet ,,, but good idea it will look nice in kitchen ,
yea my mother like it :D , thanks again 😊

·
·

You're welcome. 😊

I'm just curious, how did the drawing get glossy? Is it on the type of the pencil or something?

Wow, great work :)

·

thank you :)

I like the amount of details you spent rendering the values right and with color too. That's something I have yet to accomplish. This gives me nostalgia back when I was still using colored pencils for my works. Now it's mostly half and half digital. Nice to see you using Artisteem platform as well.

·

hi @aadamada thank you , yes i also agree about the nostalgia :)

Beautiful still life drawing, like the way you presented the kettle, using different colors you made it looking made of real brass, like the reflection of light, so kettle is my favorite object from your work. Well presented process of work and the fruits are looking so fresh, but only I have thought that the pears have more yellow-green colors rather then red. But as people say everything in the artists hands to reflect how he feels and thinks that is his decision.

·

@stef1 thank you so much , well i also like kettles, and its some kind of nostalgia so i did my best for it , :) im happy if you like it
