Nice! steemit is good fun but unfortunately its tilted slightly towards those who have a lot of steem power... I've not done very much in the way of posting articles and i don't have much of a story, i signed up only a few weeks ago but i've heard that steemit was more profitable a year ago like i heard that some of the things in hot had 300 - 600 dollars well the things in trending had like 1000- 5000 dollars, it would've been nice then...

Yes, that's right. But when someone is willing to sell their Steem lower and lower, the values of the records will also be lower and lower.
but We earn as much STEEM so it's probably a good idea to use them for power up
