Battle Is Art
Just made this high contrast commission. Was really fun to. Brief was to depict the character breathing fire to the sky and burning four items in a certain order. With a legend above and another beneath. Oh and three items to her right side and another on her left. So I started with the hyper-rough sketches for composition.
The last one, D, I just send it to propose other (more risky) compo. And was the one client liked more.

For the breath of fire, I had in my mind the scene of the "atomic breath" of shin gojira... That scene... I like it a lot. And the way the fire is like concentrated or pressured in one ray, looks badass. Also has beautiful music.

Los colores están tan geniales :333, y mi parte favorita es la máscara al lado del regalo, qué linda :3.
Gracias por su palmadita mi estimada XD. Ah la máscara es una máscara de Oni, una especie de monstruo mitológico japonés. Creo que la detallé de más y luego quedó en el mero centro de la imagen, como que al final parece el focal point jajaja.
Si, me gusta mucho su cara típica. Pues si está central pero las alas de la mujer también son llamativas, y la máscara está difuminada, así que no está tan "¡heyyyy mirenmeee!"xD.
