Today I drew this picture of dandelion and I want to give you some ideas how to use this amazing plant that is growing and flowering everywhere at the moment.

You can use all parts of the dandelion. I love to eat the leaves in salads. You can also press the juice from the leaves to drink it. Another thing I really like to do is to fry the still closed blossom. It makes an amazing vegetable dish. You can also use the opened flower to make honey or sirup with it. Me and @sature did this last week and well propably show you how in another post. You can make an extract from the dandelion root that is very potent for healing.

Dandelion has healing properties for digestion for she is antispasmodic, helps with flatulence, improves gastric secretion, increases appetite and helps to stop bloating.

Dandelion stimulates bile production in the liver and the metabolism of fat. This makes him an excellent healing plant for liver problems.

Another way Dandelion supports you is by supporting the body to discharge toxins from the body. She also causes diuretic effects and meanwhile supplies the body with minerals. This makes Dandelion a great helper for urinary tract infections.

If you have skin problems it is possible to support the healing with the fresh juice from the stalk. If you perform this at least twice daily over some weeks you will be able to cure corns, cornea and warts.

If you like the drawing and the information shared in this post you might also like my drawing and post of Ground Elder.

Wow, amazing drawing! I love it! Thanks for sharing this nice piece of art work!

your drawing is more beautiful as like as your smile.

Thank you very much <3

Really great post. I already use this plant, the only thing I haven't tried is frying the unopened flowers.
This post is really good to bring people back to nature and all of her wonders.
So many people just look upon this plant as a "weed", a pest to be eradicated from our gardens. I love my wild garden.
Looking forward to your next post about this great plant. 😊

Try it out if you can. It is delicious :) I think it is important to come back to nature for she is our original healer :)

You do realise we would have been burned or hanged as witches many years ago. 😂

My dog uses my yard as a potty or I would harvest all the lovely dandelions too! I love that plant, it is truly wonderful. Symbolically, i think its very interesting how it grows "like a weed" in cities, where the pollutants and stress make us much more prone to the very health issues that the dandelion treats! The way they keep growing almost no matter what you do, is like a message from mother nature saying "you need this!" Have you ever had dandilion mead? Its so good. It feels like a tonic. Thanks for this wonderful reminder to meditate upon the dandelion. <3

I havee never tried to make that, but it sounds fantastic. I agree, the herbs I introduce in this seriees are all wide spread and super usefull. I also think they grow close to us because they want to help us. Thank you for your great comment and have a beautiful day ;)

Ow, I loved your drawing especially because the dandelion is a common floral herb, which in fact is considered by many as a nuisance but few know that this herb, with its ephemeral white flowers, houses an impressive amount of medical benefits.
It maintains the correct functioning of the liver, improves the health of the eyes, helps to lose weight, combats the retention of liquids, protects the visual health, relieves inflammation. I really liked your post about the dandelion, it is good that more people know that a medicinal plant with incredible benefits and properties!
By the way, if it's not too much trouble I wanted to invite you to read my posts. I would greatly appreciate if you take the time to read them, and in case you like them, I would appreciate it if you would give me a vote, a comment, or a resteem.
