Hello!!!
Today I want to show you this textile artwork that is part of my collection of tapestries called "Penelope Underground". The title of this artwork is "The fairy has lost wings" its dimensions are cm 160x154. They are interweaving of ropes on canvas, alluding to the wings of a butterfly, with polymaterial applications such as aluminum, mirrors, copper, pearls, etc. and acrylic colors.

Oggi vi voglio mostrare questa opera tessile che fa parte della mia collezione di arazzi chiamata "Penelope Underground". Il titolo di questa opera è "La fata ha perso le ali" le sue dimensioni sono cm 160x154. Sono intrecci di corde su tela, che alludono alle ali di una farfalla, con applicazioni polimateriche come alluminio, specchi, rame, perle ecc. e colori acrilici.

"Penelope Underground" are a series of works interweaving Off Loom - handmade - with recycled materials of various kinds, as I said in my first post. They are materials taken from various factory in my city.
"Penelope Underground" sono una serie di arazzi eseguiti intrecciando Off Loom - a mano- con materiali filiformi di varia natura, come ho già accennato nel mio I° post. Sono materiali presi dalle varie industrie della zona in cui vivo.

They are glued and sewn on the canvas following fancy shapes, highlighting the colored and perforated parts
Essi sono incollati e cuciti sulla tela seguendo forme di fantasia, mettendo in evidenza le parti colorate e bucate.
