Buddhist Paradise seen in the Folding Screens
The buddhist paradise drawn in the folding screen looked like the apartment.
Actually, the buddhist paradise was described as the 33 story building in the mountain.
May be the 33 story building seemed to have been a miracle at that days.
I thought the ideas of the apartment would’ve begun from the buddhist paradise.
Various people, must be good people, took their space.
The space they took looked like the room of the apartment.
It was so interesting. I am living in the apartment of 31 story building.
It seems that I am living in the paradise according to the drawing in the folding screen.
I must be satisfactory to my present living.
It would be interesting to take the artist from that time and show the modern design buildings of today. I think they would be amazed at the elevators!
It would seem that the number 33 is very important in the Buddhist religion, as is in the Freemasons. It's interesting that the different cultures weave in and out from each other, having tiny similarities.

33 story building at that time! Yeah it's a surprise and a miracle definitely! Moreover it's nice to hear that you are only two story behind to the buddhist paradise when it describes as 33 story building! Nice artwork and reflect technology and culture of ancient Korea so well!

The most awesome part of looking at a 33 storrey building is recognising the fact that the sophisticated workmanship to this is definitely brilliant look at such artisanry it really reflects the lives of some certain people, it's more than amazing
I just thought about the number "33" .
In western civilisation there is a secret community called "Freemasonry":

The highest degree in this community has the number 33.
Weird, isn't it?
But only in the Scottish rite is the 33 the highest degree. There are other Masonic directions, there are less degrees.
Freemasonry

Buildings on top of the mountain must have been so fascinating in those times. All our modern set ups are based on the ancient culture and we think we are progressing from the olden times.

33 story Building seems to be metaphor of heaven which buddhism defines in samasara(karmic rebirth). for your understanding the picture attached
