Old Church (Oude Kerk) Amsterdam during steemfest.
Shooting With @mariandavp.
@mariandavp is a natural at posing, as it is easy to ask her for a photo, she won't say no, I really loved that. I had a very good time getting to spend time with her. A very easy going person that has a smile to share with everyone but most important a very honest person.
the shoot was taken inside the chapel, I've taken about 10 shots to get the high contrast I was aiming for, The sun reflecting at the top left corner of the window is what allowed this to happen.
I hope you like it.
I will give you some of the interior and exterior pictures with details of the chapel below.

outside view of the main tower.

An art installment (one of 2 modern exhibits in the inside) of 4 large broken mirrors at the floor of the chapel, it was interesting as it was reflecting the lights from the vitraux windows it was perfect for photography. I can't wait to see @steemychicken1 takes on those, he spend quite a lot of time inside with us.
There was that second installment with a huge white spiral curtain that I didn't quite like, mostly because it was covering an entire huge vitraux window of the chapel. I felt it was out of place.
The entire floor were tombstones and is rumored to be the place where Rembrandt is resting. Not sure if that's accurate.

So so so Nice to meet you !!! I am still trying to catch up online . Beautiful and stunning pictures of the georgeous @mariandavp and the chapel
Hey gorgeous. I was reading of you giving a sleep over for a fellow steemian at your Austria appartment if I am not mistaken? That was very kind of you.
Yeah we had the chance to meet and it was great. I remember the first chat we used to had on steemit.chat I would never expect to meet you in person. Was a pleasure.
Yes yes yeah yes !!!! I am feeling a bit overwhelmed since I am back . LIfe just doesn't give us enough rest sometimes. I am already dreaming of the next meet up !!! Big shout out to Athens . Beautiful pics. Thanks for the tour. Both you @skapaneas and @miriandavp are beautiful beings. So grateful to know you and have shared such powerful times.
I can only return the compliment. I was very happy to get to make friends like you.
And we all have so much in common that all of our differences didn't even appear. What a beautiful family we are building in this community. So grateful to be in it with you.
Beautiful photos! I love that marble skull. I missed out on my own @skapaneas photoshoot!
I had yours taken at the boat. I don't feel comfortable taking pictures of people without their permission. I know its silly.
:D
I'm talking about a planned photoshoot with lovely architecture and stained glass ;D I missed out on that one!
It wasn't planed actually marianda's cousin is an architect and she was the main reason we went inside the chapel. Mostly a coincidence to have the sun at the right spot I guess. I couldn't have planed this out. alternative we would be in need of professional lightning.
Have you taken any photo's of your own during the fest?didn't see a camera with you.
Well they are beautiful photos- you are very talented.
I've taken a few pictures. But I've not posted any.
show me in chat if you want. I would like to have a look.
From a little chat with @steemychicken1 the iso of my camera is not that capable of all lightning conditions. Something to do with its iso. sometimes you can get lucky with photos, I got max 30 40 photos.
Edit: And then its photoshop, after a bit of editing everything looks better!
