Steemit Art gallery – Week #21. My artwork. step-by-step.
Hello, my dear friends and blog guests!
For a weekly Art Gallery by @chrisaiki.
Today I want to introduce to you my new spring painting, which I made yesterday as a gift to my friend!
This is a watercolor sketch.
Yesterday I was unexpectedly invited for a birthday. I did not have a gift, the shops were closed, I had to create something interesting as a gift for a birthday.
Here's a picture I drew.
I know that it's interesting for many to watch the process, to see how the picture turns out.
Here I describe the step-by-step creation process.
For work, I needed a watercolor, a thick paper and a brush.
I drew this bouquet without using any kind of nature, coming up with it on the go.
First I spotted the color of the flowers.
Has planned approximately where will be located greens, cuttings and leaves.
I added some background.
Then I decided what shape the vase would be.
Made more contrasting details
And the gel pen with quick lines emphasized the shapes and silhouettes of flowers and leaves.
And now my picture is ready to be a great birthday present!
I wish everyone an excellent mood!
I hope you like it!

You DO make it look easy but I know it's not. You are very creative....I love this water color very much.
Thank you! It's true, I have a lot of practice and therefore it seems that it's all very easy to draw.
But in fact, it's easy! :))
looks great.
many artists are doing the opposite of you
first they make contours, then add colors.
just keep it going
hahaha, you are right, I didn't think about it! :))
beautiful painting. i love your painting
delicate, simple, here , less is more :)
Wow! Although it looks really simple, but the steps to paint it out is harder than I thought. You got to have that visualised in your mind and starts with the light shades! Never thought that could be done! Totally hands down and hats off to your simple yet beautiful masterpiece

Thank you!
But there is not much visualization in my head. I use those spots already. Only I help them to create a flower shape in the last few steps.
You make it look easy. I really like the use of the gel pen in the end. Nice final touch that really brings this one to life.
Yes, I also like using a gel pen. She collects any picture in the whole finished work.
spectacular! I love those ink strokes, I love the result :D

Thank you! You have nice baner!
This was incredibly surprising. At first, I thought it was a really cool effect that the colour isn't completely restricted within the lines of the gel pen. It was interesting to discover that the lines were the last thing you added! I have no artistic talent/history, so this was quite unexpected for me!
Thank you! I'm very glad that you liked it and that I was able to surprise you!
Very weightless and watercolor, I like your painting!
