EL CHAPO GUZMAN character art piece - 3 step process

Hello Steemit Community & Friends, here's the finished character art piece for a client's custom tee on Facebook. As you can see, El Chapo's Versace shirt was a real challenge to draw. Just look at all that detail! Man, I don't ever want to draw it again lol.

Is that a quote or what?
It reminds me of Tony Montana's speech in SCARFACE:
What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of fuckin' assholes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy!

I started t-shirt designing about 6 months ago. It's been growing steadily and doing better than I had expected. The key is having good designs. I would start with at least a handful and definitely have an established audience/ fanbase to market to. For ex. my audience is the Bruce Lee / martial arts and action cinema niche so I began with a series of Bruce Lee tees and branched out from there...
