Living Frame | Lebendiger Rahmen [EN/DE]

This is going to be a little preview for my next painting. Maybe some of you remember I painted the doors of a broken wardrobe (here and here). It still has some wooden boards left, so now I started to work with the next one. For this one I decided to carve a frame that is going to extend the painting that I´ll make inside.
Here are the first steps: drawing a line and carving the basic frame.
Das hier wird eine kleine Vorschau für mein nächstes Gemälde. Vielleicht erinnern sich ein paar von euch daran, dass ich die Türen meines kaputten Kleiderschrankes bemalt hatte (hier und hier). Vom Schrank sind noch ein paar Holzbretter übrig, daher starte ich jetzt mit dem nächsten. Bei diesem habe ich mich dazu entschieden, einen Rahmen zu schnitzen, der das Gemälde im inneren erweitern wird.

Oh, colors! | Oh, Farben!
That´s it for now. I´m going to varnish the colors soon and then start to paint. It´s an experiment, so I´m really curious how this will finally turn out. Stay tuned for the final result. But first, I´m leaving into the snow for one week with my family...
Das war es für´s erste. Als nächstes werde ich die Farben lackiern und dann anfangen zu malen. Es ist ein Experiment, daher bin ich auch echt gespannt, wie es am Ende wirken wird. Bleibt dran für das Endergebnis! Aber erst werde ich für eine Woche mit meiner Familie in den Schnee verschwinden...
