There are four brushes I use in this painting, pastel chalk, oils, diffuser and texture. Son cuatro los pinceles que utilice en esta pintura, la tiza pastel, el oils, difuminador y textura.

WE START / COMENCEMOS

The first thing we will do is create a canvas to proceed to make our sketch, in the first volume I will explain how to configure the canvas, click on NEW.

Lo primero que haremos es crear un lienzo para proceder a realizar nuestro boceto, en el primer volumen te explique como configurar el lienzo, hacemos clik en NEW.

PAINTING WITH CHALKS / PINTANDO CON TIZAS

The process of painting with chalk took me a little less than 3 hours, I elaborated it in gray scale to be able to apply the layers in different configurations that I showed later, after painting with chalk I applied oils and textures to give realism to our robot.

El proceso de pintura con tizas me llevo poco menos de 3 horas, lo elabore en escala de grises para poder aplicar las capas en distintas configuraciones que te mostrarte mas adelante, luego de pintar con tizas aplico los aceites y las texturas para dar realismo a nuestro robot.

I have done many times these tutorials so I want to summarize all the painting processes for them I show you the gif that details all the step by step, I want to remind you that at this stage I will focus a bit on the painting with layers.

He realizado muchas veces estos tutoriales por ello quiero resumir todos los procesos de pintura para ellos te muestro el gif que detalla todo el paso a paso, quiero recordarte que en esta etapa me centrare un poco en la pintura con capas.

These are some of the many textures I use for the robot, the truth was more than 20 textures and placing them all would be a great job so I show you the main ones.

Estas son unas de tantas texturas que utilice para el robot, la verdad fueron mas de 20 texturas y colocarlas todas seria un gran trabajo así que te muestro las principales.

USING THE LAYERS / UTILIZANDO LAS CAPAS

Painting with layers is simple, the first thing you do is to select the option that I indicate in the lower right corner where it says create new layer, then select the layer in the GEL option you are looking for the brush Colorize airbrush and paint on top of the image, while more time you leave the brush over a part the color will be more intense so you can play with the shadows.

La pintura con capas es sencilla, lo primero que haces es seleccionar la opción que te señalo en la esquina inferior derecha donde dice crear nueva capa, luego seleccionas la capa en la opción GEL buscas el pincel Colorize airbrush y pintas encima de la imagen, mientras mas tiempo dejes el pincel encima de una parte el color sera mas intenso por tanto puedes jugar con las sombras.

Extraje de internet esta imagen que tiene muchos colores, observa que cuando la pegas encima de tu capa primaria se convierte en una capa, que sucede cuando la conviertes en GEL... VEAMOS....

You observe how the layer fuses with your background layer adding different colors and textures, it is interesting to work with layers because ALL digital artists paint with layers and for each layer there is a different configuration. Note that my second robot is painting with many layers of different colors.

Observas como la capa se fusiona con tu capa de fondo añadiendo colores y texturas diferentes, es interesante el trabajo con capas porque TODOS los artistas digitales pintan con capas y para cada capa hay una configuración diferente observa que mi segundo robot esta pintando con muchas capas de colores distintos.

CONFIGURING THE LIGHT / CONFIGURANDO LA LUZ

The light was two headlights projected under the eyes and pointing in different directions.

La luz fueron dos faros proyectados debajo de los ojos y apuntando en distintas direcciones.
