I Walked In The Door
Wake Up!
Okay!
There was a blue flashing light.
"Out of water."
Hmm.
The coffee.
The coffee machine thing, is out of water.
But there was enough for one cup.
That's all I needed.
The blue light,
was a false alarm.
But is this coffee for me?
Did I make coffee before I left I don't know where and then came back from over there?
"Is this your coffee!"
I yelled to the people who were probably in bed.
There was no answer.
"Do you guys have milk!"
I yelled to the people I began to dread.
There was no answer.
"Is there anybody here!"
I yelled to the people who must have been dead.
There was no answer.
"Where's the toaster!"
When I noticed the bread.
Was nobody home in the house of the place from a place of which I don't know where and did I really come back from over there?
Or was I about to score free coffee in this place from where of which seems just like that from over there?
Where was over there?
Yes. Yes, of course!
Where was over there!
So then it is my coffee.
But this is not my home.
How can this be?
How can this coffee I see before me be all for me?
Wake Up!
Okay!
Let's figure this out!
Where the fuck am I?
The last thing I remember:
A bloody mess. And those damn headlights.
They were on to me.
It was two late!
I was at the bar, then I crashed my car, the headlights came. That's all I know so far.
Wake Up!
Okay!
But whatever happened next:
"What are you doing inside my home, Sir?"
Asked the barrel of a gun pressed up against my back.
"It's splatter time!"
The gun yelled out, shortly before the attack.
I snapped this photo while waiting at a red light today...
That was my first draft.
very nice piece(s) of art, sir! :)
Thanks! Three are new, one is a rework (fin), and two are old (the lines and bloody mess/approaching headlights).
Wake Up! Damn did I use to hear that a lot! Thanks for bringing back the memories.
I miss my alarm clock too, sometimes.
This reminds me a bit of a Goldilicks story, one where we all realize the girl was actually an amnesia patient and not a thief after all. How unfortunate for her that the three bears have begun to arm themselves. Who can blame them - no one wants baby bear to cry.
The was a bear uprising. They won the right to bear arms.
I always thought it was bare arms which is pretty conservative when women can go topless in BC and Ontario. lol
I've always been extremely confused by bare and bear. It seems to me bear should strictly be an animal. Women can go topless in BC and Ontario? Good to know.
I have found them confusing too. I remember when the law changed. The court had the good sense to make their decision in February when the thought alone would make you shiver, and it was mostly forgotten by summer.
The bare bear bore a bare baby bear that barked "Bears are a bore. Boars are better." All that boredom probably started the uprising.
Boar dum. That's why.
Let's get weirder!

One chicken licking! Coming up!
Can hardly wait ...
Now this is the weird stuff I like from you, complete with the psychedelic "It's All A Blur" that's full of some pretty odd faces and a mushroom. lol
It's All A Blur is how I spent my weekend so far.
I was craving the weird shit too.
I can see that it's a lot of work.
Friday evening and most of Saturday.
Computers suck up a lot of time.
Someone had a really rough morning & night too. :)
Speaking of which, off to make some coffee. :)
It'll grow back.
Cruel End, Messir... :-)
Once I was dead, It became difficult to tell the rest of the story.
...ok ... have to find a medium and pay him...
Stop doing lines lol

That is some trippy stream-of-consciousness type poetry nonameslefttouse.
I really like the 'It's All A Blur' picture you created for this post as well. There is some type of synchronicity type shit going on here as my 'showcase sunday' post is a surreal tripped out short story:
It's a bit long at 3000 words but I reckon you might enjoy it. Lol, shilling like a steem stalwart here 😆
Anyway, I really enjoyed the poem/art it sounds like one hell of a weekend. Coffee cures all ills.
I was already there!
It's All A Blur is some chaos. At first glance I'm sure a few only saw a blur of colors and kept scrolling. I like doing stuff like that.
I can see all sorts of stuff in there. There are loads of faces and a giant mushroom.... or maybe these are just the things my mind populates the image with. Either way, it's awesome.
The mushroom exists and I was hoping it would be the part that grabs the attention, making people look closer, then they see all that other stuff, much like tripping on shrooms.
