Whisper Gallery I: Week XI Art by @coloringiship! @rachelsvparry is next!
This is week XI of #Whisper! If any of you know of the game Chinese Whispers AKA Telephone, this is a take on that.
Steemians, check out this amazing interpretation of @scuzzy's art by @coloringiship.
Week XI Art by @coloringiship
What incredibly beautiful work by @coloringiship. I think it's amazing how this has springboarded into it's own thing with each and every contribution. I love how royal and textured this piece is. @coloringiship has a detailed description on her post's link below. But what I find interesting is how detailed the correlation and inspiration came from the previous artist @scuzzy's work. Kudos to the massive eye for detail and patterning.
"These are the things I saw in Parakeet Island - the cliffs, the crashing waves, the mountains, and the sky. I imagined the mighty forces that created those things. What pushed the mountains and the cliffs upward? " @coloringiship

What is Whisper?
A chain of artistic creations that are each initiated by a seed idea/art piece (one piece of artwork inspires the next piece, and so on). Each week we will have a featured artist who will create a piece that is inspired by the piece from the week before. In this case, it's the seed to start it off.
The beauty of this trail is seeing this creative interpretation and reinvention take place on a high level.
The Trail
Helping Build an Art Community
We want to collectively build an art community. This is a great way to connect us, support each other through up-votes, comments, and follows. Steemit can be a slow-growing platform for creatives starting out, and the future goal is to roll this into a community event where people can be perpetually submitting to the chain.
Steemians, I encourage everyone to re-steem this post to gain more eyes on the project and allow the artists to get more rewards for their high-quality work. Every comment, upvote, resteem, and follow helps!
This gets cooler and cooler with every piece!
@juliakponsford It really does. Every piece I'm caught off guard like "oh hey thats a really unique way of looking at it, and what a brilliant execution of the idea".
What an interesting interpretation @coloringiship. Love the turn this whisper has taken with a little bit of tectonic geographic reference!
@mrblinddraw, it's an absolute pleasure to scroll through the whisper every time and see how it has transformed. Can't wait for the next one :)
Thank you @manouche. I can't wait for @rachelsvparry's interpretation.
Woohoo!! So much great work to have to try to live up to! Can't wait to get going on this! :D

Cool project idea and awesome results so far :D
@kristyglas, Thank you! The kind words mean so much to me, as I wish to be producing more content like this in the future for artists to be able to get more eyes on their work!
Steemauto has a curation trail idea that could be used to support artist. I am not this kind of artist, but I assure you I sure do enjoy this kind of art. Thanks for the compilation and for not leaving me in the dark about what a whisper was.
As far as the art gallery. WOW! Great idea for supporting the art community too.
@commonlaw, yes I've been using steemauto, but trying to figure out it's place in a community event. Thanks for the recommendation! Also, thanks for complimenting the project, which wouldn't be anything without these brilliant contributions each and every week.
Well how about the artiest join and someone create their own curation trail. That way using a bot the artist can up vote each others art supporting one another. I don't know how that works but I am pretty sure one can get help with it. Maybe come on by informationwar Discord chat. I give you an invite if your interested.
I finished a little early! Here it is! And it's acrylic on canvas - I forgot to put that in the post. Thanks @coloringiship, and @mrblinddraw!
