Figure Painting Monday

Another life painting session from the workshop I'm teaching this semester. I've been drawing and painting this guy for I think over a decade now. He's been working at the art school forever. If you just go to pinterest or probably google and type figure painting, you'll probably find a picture of Bob.

He's probably one of the most drawn and painted people in the world. Anyway, this is about a one and a half hour pose.

I was a bit more focused on painting vs capturing the process, but I did use a few layers.

Also here are a few of the warm up poses, these are 5 minute poses. There was also a 20 min, but a student was having problems with their computer so I didn't get to paint it. 😒

On the Steem front, I feel like a child in the back seat asking "Are we there yet?" in regards to Communities. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the feature looks and how it works, hopefully they'll come soon.
