Work in Progress - 08/09/2017
There is rarely a pause here in the studio. Often before I have one artwork finished, I already have my eye on what I will move on to next. So, as soon as I'm done here with this post, I will be straight back to this drawing.
At the moment I am transitioning from gridding my work, to just purely drawing by sight. I did start the is one off initially by sight, laying down the main lines of expression. I then switched to a grid to see how well I did. It worked rather well. So I think I might continue like this for the next cycle of paintings.
The previous drawing I presented here on Steemit is on its way to a new home in Germany. I am very happy about this because I am sending it to a new collector.
I enjoy connecting with new people over my artwork, because everybody has a different view of it. To hear a different take on your own work can be refreshing and keep you out your own creative and mental ruts.
Thank you for checking in with me and following along my creative endeavours.

Thanking you most kindly! =)
So intricate !
It's a wonderfu start, I think ^_^ Now I can't wait to see the final result.
Thank you Silvia! I'd better keep away from Steemit so I get the drawing finished. ^_^
love your drawing style <3
Thanking you most kindly good sir! =)
Haven't seen you around Steemit for a while.
we are waiting to see how you finish it :)
Working on it, working on it, working on it... when not on Steemit. ;-)
Great to see the miracle of creation from start to finish. :D
Amazing talent. I love art and wish I studied it. Thanks for sharing your artistic endeavors with us :)
Thank you @theleapingkoala! Art is always there for you, as you do not need to formally study. I never have. I made my own personal study over many years with practice. My father, now in his 80's didn't start with painting until he retired. So, whenever you want to make time for it, go for it. =)
Have a great weekend!
Hi @leoplaw, These are awesome words of encouragement for me. Many thanks for the sweet comment.
I have curated your post Here. If you wish to take a look ;)
Since you're starting out on Steemit, take a look at @paulg. She does very informative analysis of what is actually is going on with Steemit, by pulling data out of the blockchain. Some of her insights might help you orientate yourself further.
Many thanks for the suggestion :D
Like to see it when it is finished, upvoted and following you!
You may like to see my drawings too, totally different, but i like to know what you think.
