How To Draw A Tulip

Tulips are beautiful, Yet simple flowers. These are great for beginners; They can draw or paint a wide range of beauties without having to learn a ton about flowers!
With flowers you want to have the soft touch, Think soft and gentle as you carefully draw your flower.
Draw an Oval
Add gentle "spikes" to your oval
Add another petal With a crease
Add an another petal.
Erase your Junk Lines
Add more details
Start shading,
Gentle soft shades work the best

Shade more
Finish the shading
Now you have a cute little tulip. If you would rather color them, Stop at the shading point, Then outlines it with marker and color. Or you can color without outlining. A nice layer of watercolor paint would look very beautiful. Or you can just use markers :)

This was so simple and easy to follow. Thank you! I've never been good at shading :( Which sucks cause I'd love to be really good at drawing. But I guess practice makes perfect!
I need to make shading tutorials then!
That would be super helpful. :)
Yay! Any type of shading you want to learn first?
