Life as an Artist #2: My Mural Painting Story PART 3

Good day my dear Steemian Family and friend, today I will continue sharing my story with you, about my unforgettable experience doing Mural Painting with the veterans, my Dad, and his friends. Painting Mural is very exciting things to do, and when I say exciting, it envelops in many aspects, like a lot of days work, and your hand needs to be prepared for this gruesome time it hugs the paintbrush, I even tried using my left hand, just to make my right hand rest a bit because it's very tiring, and we need to finish this panels before the deadline, for it will be set up inside the mall.

Let's just appreciate this life's work in action,

As I said in my last post, our days of working in that workplace, a warehouse in Pasay City, we got relocated at our new workplace, the venue of the gallery itself, at SM City Pampanga,

Look at that boyband feel in that photo, that how we portray ourselves when we don't have our paintbrush.

Even the old dudes can strike a pose when needed, hahaha

Okay, back to business, so here we're like feel at home, we live here for almost a week because that's how we love doing slumber party at work haha

dealing with our unfinished business, awww look at that Polar bear and her cute little baby,

Moving forward, living far away from home is quite difficult, you will miss everything, especially your comfortable bed, haha but we chose to do this kind of work, so we have them lay down for us,

with one of our good friend, a true hardcore artist, Kuya Marlon See
all of us has been loaded with works to do, so we borrowed some help from our friend, and painting faces is not our faculty, our veterans have something else to finish, so here he is, painting famous faces,

Noly started his meticulous measurements resulting in this wonderful wall illusion,

As he finishes it, it becomes a playground for us also haha

This will be its effect when it's done, quite fascinating right?

we are all doing our job right, My Dad with his Red Carpet, Eric's Korean on Swing, Kuya Ricky's Tumbled horse,

and me?

I finished my Underwater fishcapade, It's pretty easy unlike those tasks I was given before, so I'm happy I was able to finish it half a day, so I can move on to something new,

and Kuya Ricky finishes his tumbled horse,

Yay! my Dad is done with his Red Carpet,

so I can't let myself not having a picture of it, so boom!

In this line of work, we always get our hands dirty, but we love our job, because we could show our passion, we can express ourselves through our paintbrush,

here is Eric's Korean on Swing

and his Sealion jumping on hoops,

And once again, facing some real trouble here, Dino's base paint job, haha

I can't say his not helping, but for sure, I know deep within him, he's trying his best to help us, you just have to look for it deep inside, and so, I started again the crucial retouching job,

I'm deeply sorry I didn't get to take a picture of its progress, but you can see that there are some MAJOR changes there, and I'm particularly happy with this artwork, cause once again, I proved to myself that definitely, I'm pretty good at painting animals, like this cute, cuddly penguins here jumping out of frame to get their food,

You may think that we're like hermits doing our job in a secluded mountain away from civilization, No, we sometimes get out of our cave, and we walk like we're in a park for free, seeing the beautiful scenery here in SM Pampanga, taking a picture, as if we're celebrities,

and one of the reasons for us to go outside, is we hunt for food, I mean, we go to some cheap food stand outside SM's premises, because we're quite tight on budget, haha and we don't stay long outside because the sun may damage our delicate skin, hahaha No, we just go back quickly because we have so many things to do haha

and so, moving on, Noly is almost done with his Magician,

We once again borrowed some help from our dear friend outside the dungeon,

meet our friend, our brother, Kuya Emman a very down to earth person, I like working with him because I do the talking and he just throwing sarcasm at me, hahaha

And he's very dedicated to what he is doing, that's why working with him is quite an enjoyable experience,

In my absence sometimes, many things unfold in such monumental speed, like my Dad finishing the President, I mean finish painting the President, that came out weird, haha

and Kuya Ricky's Version of Red Carpet,

And of course, this is me, being me with the President haha,

Sometimes, when push comes to shove, we let our beloved comrade, Dino cook for us, because that one of his major role in our work, and he's quite passionate with cooking, so we sometimes dine inside,

oh, and that's me, waiting for my turn to get my food, haha

As time goes by easily without us noticing, artworks are getting done more easily, one thing is because we're being pressured to do it faster, sometimes we do it till late night, we are somehow permitted to work late night for the sole purpose of finishing it sooner,

we are given this Workers Pass, so we could walk around at night whenever we need to take a dump, haha it's because the comfort room is located in the middle of the amusement park or should I say the Sky Ranch, haha

we walk through this magnificent park just to take a dump hahaha what a wonderful story to tell haha

Then we got a solution for this kind of problem, we look for a house to rent, It's kinda famous around here, that workers in SM sometimes rent a house, because their house is quite far if they're going home every day, and so we go find a house,

Would you look at that, how happy we are with our new house for the meantime,
and we have a mascot,

we took care of him, while we're in his house, we are told, that he is nobody's dog, he was there even before the last occupant we're renting the house,

This is our view whenever we go home at night,

away from the paintbrush, and the stress building up by the deadline that is being instilled in our mind whenever we're inside our workplace.

This is it for today, my dear Steemian Family and Friends, but worry not, I'm not getting tired of sharing with you my life experience, better yet, I'm pausing for a while, because I have so many things to share to you, and It will become more like a photo album, if I were to give it my all, all at once, haha so sit back and wait for more, until next time, and when I say next time, that would be tomorrow haha.
