CROOKED [Inktober Day 8]
CROOKED
I did a bunch of sketching today to find the crooked theme and got no where. No matter what I came up with it just didn't seem right and I felt like I was trying too hard. Finally I took a break and just looked up and found this perfectly crooked tree. It was really nice to get out of my head and just do a sweet little painting without having to dig so deep. The tree had a wonderful angular look and I loved the little shapes of the leaves.

"Crooked" was a challenging theme for sure. So many negative connotations can be drawn from the word. Plants and nature are always reliable subjects to turn to. I like the cool colors of the leaves against the dark trunk and branches. ☺
Thank you @enternamehere 😊. Ya, I went through a lot of 'crooked' themed ideas, a lot of them seemed negative and I wasn't excited to dive into any of them. Gigantic was a tough one too, ill be posting mine later today. I like what you did with yours.
