A girl wearing Furisode 振袖をきた女の子[EN/JP]

She is wearing a traditional long sleeved kimono, called furisode. It is usually worn on special occasions and during the coming of age ceremony by 20 year olds.
遠い昔、横浜にいた頃、成人式用の振袖レンタルでバイトをしました。
思い出して、着物姿を描きたくなりました。
コミック用紙に立川Gペンと丸ペン、製図用インクを使用。
Materials used:
- Blue lead pilot pencil
- G pen and Maru pen
- Pilot ink
- Comic paper

I really did :) even have a video inking it. The yunk about it, is that I was lucky it came out so well.

着物がシンプルだと帯は華やかじゃなきゃ〜ですね。ultrasevenさんは着物とかきたりしますか？
母や伯母は着付を習ってますが、私は全然です。成人式と、大学の卒業式で袴を着たくらいですね^^;
浴衣の帯を結ぶだけでもやっとで… 本当は着られるようになりたいですが。

thank you :) I love shojo manga too, and always wanted to be able to draw it. unfortunately from 10 drawings I make, only one or two are this good right now. so there is still so much to practice.
Aww, don't be too hard on yourself! This is pretty darn impressive, if I didn't know any better I'd have thought it was from a shojo manga. :)
