Creative Illustrations of Mental Health Disorders

My son has ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and when i first saw these illustrations created by Shawn Cross i was taken back as the illustration of ASD was in my experience spot on. My son is now 6 and his ASD is severe, he is currently pre-verbal with very limited communication. His brain is 'wired' differently and he gets frustrated that he cannot communicate his needs, that is why this illustration of ASD connected so well. His mind knows what it it is that he wants but he has no way to communicate it.
