Portrait No.4 - Practice
I was so scared of drawing people and faces and now can't stay away from it, am loving it more and more!
Practice makes the master, so they say :D Not that I'll ever be a master but it looks like my drawing skills could get better if I practice on a regular basis.
Male faces interests me at the moment and most likely would practice more till I'm ready to draw female faces.
This guy is the hero of the day :D He's not exactly like the guy in the video at the bottom of my post but ... as I always say, at least he looks like a human being :))
This time I wanted to pay attention to proportions and used a ruler but won't make a habit out of this. I have to learn to use my pencil for measuring the proportions.
These lines help a lot, my man looks more human :D
It's a bit scary at this stage, but it gets better, I promise :)
The best thing about drawing is that you can erase what you don't like and draw it again. I didn't like how he looked like, so I made some modifications.
The nose and the lips are still complicated but I'm getting better. I think his lips on the final photo are way more better.
Now you can compare my two guys and tell me which one do you like better?
I'm not sure which one looks better. I think I'm gonna ask them out and then I'll decide :D
This is the tutorial video. I'm going to draw the female face as well. The good thing is that these drawings are not so complicated, I can finish one in mac 30 minutes, so I have to make time every day for this!!!

You are definitely getting better. From the four drawing you posted, this is the best.
Have you considered drawing suspects for the Police? This is the vibe I'm getting from this portrait. 🙂

For now I can only draw if I see a video tutorial first. Most likely I'm going to try to draw a portrait on my own, using a photo but that would be a bit later.
The most important thing is that I love it and am having a lot of fun!
As long as you love what you do...the rest is not important. 🙂

De komolyan mondom, tényleg jó. A csaj életszerűbb, igazibb, a srácon még látszik, hogy tanulod a rajzolást. De ez nem rossz dolog, nekem ennél sokkal jobban látszódna :)
SZERK: Na közben rájöttem, hogy a tutorialos videó nem a tiéd, hanem abból tanulsz, én meg úgy írtam, hogy a tiéd :D
