On the Road, On the Page
This drawing is intended for a textile pattern.
The color palette of the textile designs will be green and pink.
I used the colors from this olive-backed sunbird, photographed by @digitalis.
I did not have the photograph in front of me, but chose the colors from memory.
I used colored pencils from Caran d'Ache (Luminance, Supracolor & Museum Aquarelle) on a sheet of 90g tracing paper.
Tracing paper has a smooth and resistant quality, suitable for colored pencils.

Beautiful arts. I used to draw in my teens. I believe my daughter luvs to draw came from my genes, since my wife can't draw :) never taught my daughter to draw, I just saw in her instagram she does.
