New Commissioned Girl Pencil Portrait By EdgarsArt Part 6

Finally i go hair part done in this portrait! Well actually not completely, because in the end i will work with an eraser to get those hair look lighter, because girl in this portrait has kind of blond hair rather than dark.

Today in this i was working with 2B pencil. In one picture i had a closeup photo of the exact pencil which i am using for this.
In some of my other posts i posted some pencils which i use and there was also 2B, but this one is different one. I never used this before, but so far it has been good. It is harder, and not so soft compared to the previous one i used, and so far so good with it.

I made some long strokes with it and some short ones. Made those dark spots, so now her hair is looking two times more realistic than before. I am doing this in steps:
First: I made the basic coat and shape with 2H pencil.
Second: Today- Made dark spots with 2B
Third: In the end i will make white highlights with an eraser.
In almost every portrait i am doing these three steps. Sometimes when i have to draw completely dark hair, i am just making the basic shape already as the finished shape, by pushing the pencil hard enough to get the right tone at the very beginning, so i can get it all done sometimes in even less than 20 minutes.
